ClubCall: Midfielder linked with Reds

Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue is said to be on Brendan Rodgers' transfer list this summer as he looks to strengthen.

As well as the Reds, the 25-year-old has been linked with Premier League giants Tottenham and Arsenal as well as Cardiff, who have all expressed interest in the French international.

The player himself has admitted he wants to play in the Premier League, meaning he is almost certain to make the move this summer, and it could come down to who makes the first concrete offer for his services.

Rodgers has his own set of targets to bring in and he is now set to turn his attention to Capoue after admitting there is plenty of hard work going on behind the scenes.

"Nothing is close but plenty of work is going on," Rodgers told the Liverpool Echo.
