Any thoughts Liverpool may have had about signing Jackson Martinez appear to be over as he has made it clear he is staying at Porto.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers had been linked with a move for the striker as he looks to add to his front line but Martinez says he has no interest in a move.
The Colombian has also been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Tottenham as well as Napoli and Borussia Dortmund, but it is looking increasingly likely that he will stay where he is.
Although he has yet to agree a new contract with Porto, and his agent has not ruled out a move, the player himself says he is happy where he is and does not want to leave Portugal.
He told Radio Renascenca: "I am happy to be here at a club like this. I am enjoying the opportunity to play here, I want to repeat what happened last season and win more trophies with Porto."
