Valencia defender Ally Cissokho has played down talk linking him with a move away from the Mestalla, expressing his view that transfer chatter is directly related to the club's financial position.
The 25-year-old has been linked with Liverpool in recent weeks, while a number of Russian clubs have also been mooted as keeping tabs on his availability this summer.
But the Frenchman is not sure how much truth is in the transfer chatter surrounding him and believes it could simply be based on Valencia's current financial status.
Cissokho told a press conference when asked about talk of a move: "Everyone who is associated with the club is the subject of these rumours. I think it is because of the financial situation."
However, Cissokho did admit that if he wanted to leave then there are opportunities for him to do so, even if at present that is not what he wishes."
"I have possibilities, that is true," he added.
"But I am happy here. I played a lot under coach [Mauricio] Pellegrino, somewhat less under [Ernesto] Valverde, but I have been involved in the big games in La Liga and the Champions League."
Cissokho joined Valencia in 2012, making the move from French giants Lyon, where he had turned out for four seasons.
