Former Liverpool star Ryan Babel has revealed he has been filling in Reds target Christian Eriksen on life at Anfield.
Speculation has linked the Danish play-maker with a switch to Merseyside this summer, with reports on the continent suggesting the Premier League club are closing in on an £18million move for the 21-year-old.
Babel, who played with Eriksen at Ajax before joining Turkish side Kasimpasa, has been contacted by Liverpool fans on Twitter asking for an update on the move.
And on Tuesday morning the Dutch international replied: "4 the LFC fans who have questions about Eriksen, I've gave him enough information about the club during past season.. so he understands LFC.
"In my opinion its LFC who have to make the real effort to get him, then i'm confident for a good ending. #LFC."
Eriksen is widely regarded as one of hottest prospects in European football, scoring 23 goals in 109 appearances for the Dutch side.
He only has a year to run on his current Ajax contract and appears intent on testing himself in a new league next season.
However, Liverpool face stiff competition for the talented youngster's signature with AC Milan also interested in the Danish international.
