Liverpool are one of a host of clubs interested in signing prolific FC Twente striker Luuk De Jong, according to the player's agent.
De Jong, 21, has dazzled for Twente this season, netting 23 goals in 23 Eredivisie games for Steve McClaren's side.
But with Twente struggling to qualify for next season's Champions League, De Jong is tipped to end his three-year association with the club in search of a new challenge abroad.
The Netherlands international has previously stated a desire to play in the Premier League and his agent Luis Laros has now named Liverpool as one of the clubs interested in him, but also stressed that he has no shortage of admirers.
"Liverpool are following Luuk closely. But so are 15 other clubs," Laros told Voetbal International. "Three big clubs that have qualified for the Champions League preliminaries have told us that they are ready to open talks with Twente.
"We will keep our eyes and ears open in the next few weeks. Luuk is feeling very well at Twente, but if the club fails to qualify for Europe, staying put is a less attractive option."
Everton and Newcastle have all been mooted as potential destinations for De Jong in the past, while Borussia Monchengladbach have recently emerged as candidates for his signature.
