Scott McAuley joined Liverpool's medical department in December 2014.

Scott combines his physiotherapy role with the first team, focusing on injury prevention and screening, with a soft tissue therapy role, which focuses on recovery and massage.

Prior to joining the club, Scott worked for the NHS, in the private sector and semi-professional football after graduating from Salford University with a first-class honours degree in physiotherapy.

As part of his continuing development he is currently undertaking a masters degree in manual herapy.
